R.W.B. DOG T.A.G.S.

Our Mission

A cleaner telling of the story they already have.

Red White Blue Dog Training After Government Service exists to serve both qualifying veterans and the dogs partnered with them. The organization focuses on training, mentorship, camaraderie, socialization, and practical support that helps veterans keep and care for the animals that help them keep going.

The mission is often summarized as Saving Two Lives At A Time: a veteran receives meaningful support, and a rescued or hard-to-place dog receives purpose, care, and a second chance.

The organization began with founder Milana Rice offering dog training assistance to a veteran in 2008. Over time, relationships with veterans, VA providers, rescues, shelters, and volunteers shaped the program into a volunteer-led nonprofit with chapters in Nevada, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Legacy mark

The original mission symbol still has a place.

This legacy logo reflects the heart of the organization’s story: a veteran, a dog, and the life-changing bond between them. It has been incorporated throughout the site as a secondary mission mark while the primary site branding stays clean and modern.
